Rastriya Swatantra Party Sweeps All 10 Constituencies in Kathmandu

In a historic political development, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has achieved a clean sweep across all 10 constituencies in Kathmandu, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of the capital.

According to the final vote count results, all RSP candidates secured clear victories with strong vote margins in their respective constituencies.

In Kathmandu–1, Ranju Neupane was elected with 15,455 votes, winning by a margin of 9,091 votes.
Similarly, in Kathmandu–2, Sunil KC secured a commanding victory with 34,238 votes, defeating rivals by 25,364 votes.

In Kathmandu–3, Raju Nath Pandey won the seat with 18,756 votes, maintaining a margin of 7,585 votes.
Meanwhile, Pukar Bam triumphed in Kathmandu–4 with 29,142 votes, winning by 20,318 votes.

The party also maintained its dominance in Kathmandu–5, where Sasmit Pokharel received 30,737 votes and secured victory with a margin of 21,578 votes.
In Kathmandu–6, Shishir Khanal was elected after receiving 27,719 votes, leading by 20,968 votes.

Continuing the trend, Ganesh Parajuli won Kathmandu–7 with 27,805 votes and a 23,823 vote margin.
In Kathmandu–8, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha secured the seat with 24,592 votes, leading by 21,375 votes.

One of the largest vote totals came from Kathmandu–9, where Dol Prasad Aryal received 35,093 votes, winning by 29,633 votes.
Similarly, Pradip Bista emerged victorious in Kathmandu–10 with 37,469 votes, defeating opponents by 29,369 votes.

Political analysts say the complete sweep of Kathmandu by the Rastriya Swatantra Party signals a major shift in urban voter sentiment, potentially reshaping Nepal’s broader political dynamics as vote counting continues across other regions.
